There are short breaks between rounds.
This tournament is a ‘Swiss’ competition with 7 rounds. This means that all players play 7 games and no-one is ‘knocked out’ of the tournament. The tournament is open for everyone, including unrated players.
The time limit is 10m+5s per player per game. That means each player has 15 minutes at the start and gains 5 seconds for each move.
This tournament will be ACF rated and FIDE rated.
1st place: $500
2nd place: $250
3rd place: $125
Best player under 1800 ACF: Book prize
Best player under 1400 ACF: Book prize
Best ACF unrated player: Book prize
