The first Sydney Academy of Chess tournament was held on Sunday 6th January, 2013. There were 26 players in the Sunday Fun Tournament, with 19 of those already rated, including 5 with ratings over 600 JCL.
William Tao, winner of several Sunday Fun Tournaments in 2012, was the outright winner with 7 points out of a possible 8. Congratulations again William! Thanks to our chief arbiter Bevan for running the event. Below are the prizewinners who earned trophies (for the top 3 places) and medals (age prizes):
