Xmas Swiss Chess Challenge 2011

This event was held at the Sydney Latvian Society Club in Strathfield on Sunday 4th December, 2011 and attracted 140 players. The winner of the Xmas Swiss Chess Challenge 2011 was top seed Andrew Pan, who dominated the tournament from start to finish and ended with a perfect score of 8/8, Congratulations to Andrew, and to all of the other prizewinners. The canteen/shop proved to be very popular, selling sandwiches, drinks, lollies and chess equipment. Thanks to Lyn and Chris in the canteen, and to all of our arbiters who did a great job keeping everything under control.
